Mental Health Resources

Personal counseling is available to assist students in distress.

Free short-term or crisis counseling is available to enrolled students.

If long-term help is needed, students are referred to appropriate external resources.

Difficult issues can get in the way of academic success. Trained and licensed staff can guide you in personal, social, and/or psychological matters such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief.

We can help you manage these issues, your responsibilities, and other personal situations.

All resources listed are free or low-cost and are available in Bexar and surrounding counties.

The Alamo Colleges District is now partnered with TimelyCare to deliver a new virtual health and well-being platform for students.

Through either a mobile app or your desktop, TimelyCare provides 24/7 access to virtual care from anywhere in the United States at no cost. Whether you’re feeling anxious or overwhelmed, you can talk to a licensed provider to get the care you need via phone or secure video visits.

To get started, visit or download the TimelyCare app from your app store. Enter your student email, and you'll be redirected to ACES to login.
